Privacy Policy
Empire Cloud is a private tool run by Ashok Farroda (ashokfarroda04@gmail.com). It is used only by the owner, for his own YouTube channels. It is not offered to the public.
Google data the app uses
- Google sign-in (your email address) to check that only the owner opens the dashboard.
- YouTube (via YouTube API Services): reads the channel's video metadata (titles, descriptions, tags, privacy status, thumbnails, view counts) and YouTube Analytics / Reporting numbers (views, watch time, impressions, click-through rate); changes a video's title, description, tags, thumbnail or "altered or synthetic content" setting only after the owner approves each change. It also uploads the owner's own finished documentary videos to his own channels as PRIVATE (videos.insert), with Hindi captions (captions.insert) and a thumbnail (thumbnails.set), and marks them as "altered or synthetic content". A video is made public or scheduled only after the owner approves it in the dashboard.
- Gmail: sends emails from the owner's Gmail account to the owner (permission "send email" only; it never reads the mailbox).
The OAuth scopes requested from the owner are openid and email for Google sign-in; https://www.googleapis.com/auth/youtube.force-ssl and https://www.googleapis.com/auth/yt-analytics.readonly for YouTube; and https://www.googleapis.com/auth/gmail.send for Gmail. The app also uses https://www.googleapis.com/auth/cloud-platform with the owner's project credentials for Google Cloud services.
Where it is stored
Only in the owner's own Google Cloud project: video data and settings in Firestore, sign-in tokens in Secret Manager, thumbnail images, rendered videos, voice files and captions in a private Cloud Storage bucket. The app never stores or reads other people's YouTube data. Data is used only to provide the features above.
Sharing
Data is never sold or shared with anyone. Text and images are processed by Google's Vertex AI (Gemini) inside the same Google Cloud project to create suggestions.
Revoking access and deleting data
- Press Disconnect on a channel in the dashboard: the app revokes its access and deletes that channel's stored data and token.
- You can also remove the app's access at any time at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions.
- Stored YouTube statistics are refreshed or deleted within 30 days. For any request, email ashokfarroda04@gmail.com.
Google and YouTube terms
This app uses YouTube API Services. Its use is governed by the YouTube API Services Terms of Service; by using it you agree to the YouTube Terms of Service, and Google's handling of data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.
